Additional information on school clubs is as follows:

  • Deadline. Submit the below form by Friday, August 30.

  • Cost. To compensate teachers for their time and reimburse for supplies, clubs have fees. However, we are committed to ensuring all students participate in clubs. If fees would present a financial barrier for a student’s participation, fees will be waived. Please submit this form and contact Principal Yates at robert.yates@mnps.org for a waiver.

  • Lottery. Clubs are limited in size. If student interest exceeds available spaces in a club, an anonymous lottery will be conducted for the spots available.

  • Enrollment Limit. To allow all students an opportunity to participate in a club, initially each student may only sign up for one club; however, students are encouraged to list up to three (3) clubs by ranking their choices (1-3). If after initial applications are processed and spaces remain, then students may be accepted into additional clubs.

  • Transportation. Not provided after clubs.

  • Participation in clubs requires student adherence to the Club Conduct Policy.

  • Notification. You will receive email notification by September 5 as to which club your child has been accepted into.
