November 5 - Online donations conclude & envelopes must be turned in.
Donations can be made through your child’s fundraising page OR through cash or check (payable to Dan Mills PTO).

Last year we beat our fundraising goal… let’s do it again!!

The Dan Mills PTO wants to promote a healthy lifestyle to our students and the community. This year, the money raised will be used to fund student and teacher resources to support curriculum, professional development, enhance safety features, school building improvements, and to provide classroom teachers with funding for items to enhance their lessons with the students! We have teamed up with Get Movin’© to make this a fun event with online mobile friendly technology! Please help us reach our fundraising goal by supporting our Dragon Dash!

In 2024, we raised a record-breaking $90,000! Let’s do it again!

DRAGON DASH SCHEDULE

PreK & K: 10:00-10:30

1st Grade: 9:30-10:00

2nd Grade: 12:40-1:10

3rd Grade: 1:40-2:10

4th Grade: 9:00-9:30

5th Grade: 10:30-11:00

WHAT IS DRAGON DASH DAY LIKE?

Dragon Dash is the day the students get to show their spirit and participate in the main event! Here is a brief overview:

Each grade has a designated time slot to participate. They run (or walk, skip, dance) laps around the front of the school parking lot, which is blocked from traffic
Each lap gets marked, so while not a race, the students with the highest laps by grade will get recognized. It’s all meant to feel fun and not competitive!
There is a DJ and Emcee to amp up the kids. Plus fun decorations!
Parents are encouraged to come watch and cheer on their Dragons. We also need volunteers to help with the event itself!
Kids are provided a shirt to wear on Dragon Dash day
Don’t forget: have your student wear tennis shoes and pants/bottoms they can run or walk in. Bring a water bottle!
